When I was looking at Asheville NC apartments for rent, I knew that I had to consider not only how the apartment was but also the location of the complex too. I definitely wanted to find a nice apartment that had the typical things that upscale apartment complexes have, like a swimming pool and fitness center. I wanted those to both be top of the line amenities too that are well taken care of, and I found that at The District. The next thing I had to do was look at what is around it, and I knew I hit the jackpot once I looked at the website to see what all is around it.

It is super close to Bitmore Village, and I mean close enough to walk to it. A neat thing about the website for The District is that I was able to look at a map with different local interests on it. Continue reading “I Could Not Have Found a Better Apartment Anywhere else”

Of course a wonderful apartment is not going to be cheap, but I was lucky in that I found this guy who works at one of those big skyscrapers for a big bank in downtown Charlotte. It was easy enough because he trusted me and he had this plan. Of course I would not have been hunting for luxury apartments for rent in Charlotte NC if I had not had him and his money. In fact they likely would not have ever let me have the place. I just do not have the means to impress those people and this guy has plenty of collateral and plenty of income. In fact he does not plan upon living full time there, because he is a really avid boater and fisherman. He bought this piece of land on Lake Jordan and that is where I come into his plans. Eventually he wants to build a house there and a boat dock, but right now he just wants to clear off enough land to put down a concrete pad. Continue reading “I Found a Wonderful Apartment”

When we first talked about moving to Nevada, all I could picture was an urban place in the middle of the desert. My only experience was going to Las Vegas with my parents when they would visit the casinos. When my husband got a promotion that required us to move to the area, I could only picture hot sun and desert. He showed me a website for some Las Vegas apartments in Summerlin that changed my mind. The pictures of the landscaped grounds with grass and trees really altered what I was imagining in my head.

I had just graduated as an RN who was working toward becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. I was actually looking forward to applying at the health facilities in the area. Continue reading “Moving to Las Vegas Was the Best Thing So Far”

Of course they did not really give me much time to get ready for the start of the fall semester and I am scrounging around looking for a place to live. Right now I have been searching craigslist for Colorado Springs apartments and obviously I would love it if I could find a place that is as close to the campus as is possible. At any rate I have just not got here, last night I slept in my car on a street near the place I was going to check out. I am going to try to find a place that is affordable and I would love it if I could find a good roommate, one that I could trust and rely upon. It is a simple matter to find a roommate, but you have to figure out if they are going to do what they claim that they are going to.

Obviously the big thing is paying your share of the rent, but you have to think about other stuff. Continue reading “I Got Admitted into CSU”
